The health law department is one of the main activity of the firm since its creation, developed under the supervision of Yves Lachaud, well known in this field since the mid 1980’s. Because of the nature of its interventions and of its clients, the firm’s activity has shifted towards advising and defending health professionals, primarily in the private field for clinics and private doctors (surgeons, anaesthetists, radiologists).
In the field of medical torts, the firm has chosen to put an emphasis on health professionals’defense.
Yves Lachaud regularly publishes in the special editions of the Gazette du Palais- health law. He is the author of the Lamy Santé study on the ways to trigger medical responsibility.
Yves lachaud, as well as his associate Laure Vergez-Honta, regularly participates in conferences and continuing legal education.
